Breeding Stock

While the majority of our cows are Scottish Highlands, we have also obtained some Highland crosses, British Whites, Shorthorns, and Belted-Galloways. Our females are small-framed, chondro negative cows, while our bulls are chondro positive Scottish Highlands with a tiny percentage of Dexter due to the chondro gene.

Conners calves will arrive at their new homes with a calf starter kit (halter, milk replacer, bottle, and a lifetime of our support). The Calves require 3/4 of a bottle of warm water and 5 ounces of milk replacer to be fed morning and evening each day. They need a fresh supply of water, grass hay, and calf feed at all times. Starting in 2021 All calves will leave the ranch with our freeze brand on their left shoulder to represent their heritage from our program.
