We specialist in mini cow breeds of Miniatures. we have Rare and Heritage Breeds still used today by Indigenous People. Heritage Breeds are traditional livestock breeds that have been raised by Pastoralists of the past. They were bred over time to preserve traits that made them better adapted to withstand disease and survive in harsh environmental conditions. we are working to preserve and ensure genetic diversity in our bloodlines to secure their continued existence. We strive to harmonize and make a difference through respectful land stewardship and animal husbandry. By preserving our land, our animals and our cultural heritage, we have created an economically and ecologically responsible pastoral model. All of our animals are pasture-raised on Fescue, Bermuda and Alfalfa grass or hay. Their all natural diet is supplemented with natural grains free of antibiotics, hormones and animal by-products.

We have always loved the gentle nature and super long hair of the Highland Cattle breed. Our goal is to take these great qualities, reduce the size to under 38″, and breed for naturally hornless animals. This program took upto 6 years before we had calves for sale and we were optimistic that the wait was well worth it.

Miniature Jersey Cows
Miniature cows are members of the bovine family. All cows are ruminants and have four-chamber stomachs. They are cud-chewing animals. Male cows are called bulls. Altered males are called steers. Females are called cows. It takes a cow nine months to have a baby calf. At birth, a baby Miniature Jersey calf weighs approximately 15 to 25 pounds and is from 14 to 16 inches tall. Miniature cows can live up to 25 years with the possibility of producing 23 calves. Miniature cows are very docile and easy to handle. They can be kept on as little as 1/4 acre of land. They require 1/3 the nutrition of an average full size cow. Miniature Conners Cows are a sound economic investment. They produce up to four gallons of milk daily and yield higher quality marketable beef. With the emphasis on health related diets to eat smaller servings of meat, the consumer can enjoy smaller cuts of beef with more marbling and less fat. Not only are miniature cows very practical for milk and beef supply, their small size, hardy constitution, gentle nature and rarity make them ideal for any exotic investor, backyard hobbyist or farmer. We are happy to introduce a new safe guard for miniature cattle and pig buyers. With certain calves we will describe them as a “Guaranteed Miniature”.
Miniature Potbellied Pigs for Sale
Miniature Pigs are sometimes falsely marketed as micro mini pigs, pocket pigs or teacup pigs. Keith Connell imported the first Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs to the United States from Canada in 1986. Conners Farm raises Pigs that were direct imports from Canada in the early 1990s. There is limited genetics for our bloodlines. We do not cross them with other larger breeds of pigs such as Kune Kunes, Julianas, Tamworths or Gloucester Old Spots as other so called “mini” pig breeders do to create a “designer” breed which ultimately will be small as a baby, but will grow into a large pig due to its genetics.
At maturity, our Miniature Pigs are 10 to 15 inches tall. Their length should be in proportion to height. The average weight is 25 to 55 pounds. The usual color is black. Other rare colors include all white (pink) or black and white pintos with blue eyes. Conners Micro Pigs have a sway back and a straight tail. Male pigs are called boars. Female pigs are called sows. Conners Farm raises tiny, gentle Miniature Pigs that are used as Therapy Pigs in our Mini-stries.

Preserving The Original Miniature
We are very proud of the daily handling and care given to our miniatures here in California Farm. We provide proper nutrition and quality veterinary care to all of our animals. Our livestock is current on vaccinations, dental checkups, hoof care, and worming. The health of our animals is very important to us, and we follow rather strict practices. We maintain a closed herd, which means we do not bring in any new animals, embryos or semen. Once an animal is sold, it may not be returned. So that we do not unintentionally introduce disease into our herds, we do not bring our animals to shows, and we do not borrow or lend animals for breeding. We prefer weanlings do not leave Conners Farm before they are 4 months of age. They need time to grow and play with other weanlings, receive discipline from their mothers, and time to change their diet gradually to eliminate the desire for mother’s milk. This also enables Conners Farm time to deworm the weanlings and give them their first vaccinations. All miniatures come with Conners Farm health papers showing up to date vaccinations, deworming schedule, and hoof trimming schedule. They also leave Conners Farm with a brand new halter and leadline. If you need transportation, we can arrange ground transport within the US and Canada. To other countries, we can arrange air transportation on major airlines.
Donations to Connersmini Foundation enable us to provide the best level of care and training to our animals as well as fund our outreach and Mini-stry programs. Thank you for helping preserve the rare breeds of Connersmini Foundation and helping our Therapy Farm Animals make a difference in the lives of others.
